This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our Android application and website, how that information is used, how third-party services operate within the app, and the choices and rights you retain over your data. By accessing or using Ai study hub, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

We collect information you provide directly to us as well as data generated automatically during your use of the application:

• Account Information: Your name and email address when you register or sign in.
• Authentication Data: One-time verification codes (OTP) sent to your registered email, or profile name and email address when you sign in via Google.
• Study Content & User Submissions: Text prompts, questions, syllabus topics, study session histories, and files (such as PDFs, DOCX, or study images) uploaded for notes generation, flashcard creation, and exam prediction.
• Camera Captures (Document Scanner): When you explicitly choose to use the in-app document scanner, images of study materials captured via your device camera to extract text or compile study PDFs.
• Advertising & Device Telemetry: For ad-supported features, Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) accesses the Google Play Advertising ID (AD_ID) and standard diagnostic device metrics for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and frequency capping.
• Subscription & Transaction Identifiers: Your active tier status (Free, Pro, Ultimate), token allowances, and Razorpay payment identifiers (e.g., Order ID, Payment ID). We do not collect or store raw credit or debit card numbers.
• Technical & Log Data: Basic operational telemetry such as crash reports, network status, and session tokens necessary to keep you securely authenticated.

• To create, authenticate, and manage your student account securely.
• To operate our core study suite: AI tutor chat, Magic Notes, MCQ practice tests, Last Minutes exam predictor, and focus tracking.
• To process uploaded study materials, scan documents, and generate structured notes, flashcards, and exportable PDF study resources.
• To manage ad-supported study rewards: awarding free study credits or tokens when users choose to engage with rewarded video advertisements.
• To verify subscription upgrades via Razorpay and track plan entitlements.
• To diagnose bugs, optimize app performance, and protect against fraudulent activity or abuse.

Ai study hub utilizes Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) to provide free access to educational tools through an ad-supported model, including optional rewarded advertisements that grant users additional study credits upon completion.

In connection with serving ads, Google AdMob may collect and process:

• Google Play Advertising ID (AD_ID): A user-resettable unique identifier provided by the Android OS used for ad attribution, fraud prevention, frequency capping, and personalized or non-personalized ad selection in accordance with Google Play policies.
• Ad Performance & Measurement Metrics: Aggregated statistics regarding ad views, clicks, and rewarded completion events.
• Diagnostic & Anti-Fraud Telemetry: IP address, device model, and carrier information utilized by Google to detect bot traffic, invalid clicks, and safeguard network integrity.

You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertisements at any time through your Android device settings under Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID or Reset advertising ID.

The Ai study hub Android application requests access to your device camera (android.permission.CAMERA) exclusively when you activate the in-app Document Scanner tool.

• Purpose: Camera access is strictly limited to allowing you to take photos of physical study notes, textbook pages, printed assignments, or reference materials that you wish to digitize.
• Local Processing: Document scanning, edge detection, perspective correction, and cropping are performed on your local device. The camera is never accessed in the background or when the document scanner is not actively in use.
• No Facial Recognition or Continuous Recording: The camera is used solely as a photographic scanner for printed or written academic text. We do not use facial recognition, biometric analysis, or video recording.
• Storage: Scanned pages are saved to your local device cache to generate your compiled study PDF. Images are never permanently retained on external servers without your explicit action.

When you upload educational files (PDFs, DOCX files, images) or compile scanned pages:

• Study Processing: Uploaded materials are read to extract academic text so that our AI models can generate concise study summaries, flashcards, MCQs, or revision sheets.
• PDF Generation: When you use our PDF utilities or export notes, PDF files are generated either directly on your device or through secure ephemeral processing. Generated documents are saved to your device for offline reading or printing.
• User Ownership: You retain complete ownership over all academic materials and documents you scan, upload, or create with Ai study hub.

Our intelligent study features are powered by industry-leading AI models (including Google Gemini and Groq) connected through our secure backend services. When you prompt the AI tutor, generate Magic Notes, create MCQs, or request exam predictions, relevant text extracts are sent securely to these providers to generate academic responses.

Content submitted to AI services is processed solely to fulfill your immediate educational request. We do not use your personal submissions or academic documents to train general public AI models without consent.

We use Google Firebase to provide reliable, secure identity authentication:

• Firebase Authentication & Google Sign-In: You can create and access your account using your email address or Google Sign-In. Firebase manages credentials securely, providing us only with your basic profile identity (name and email) to link your study sessions and saved resources.
• Firebase Analytics & Crashlytics: We may utilize Firebase diagnostic tools to measure app stability, monitor crash reports, and understand broad feature engagement. This diagnostic telemetry is anonymous and aggregated.

Paid subscriptions and plan upgrades are securely handled by Razorpay, an authorized third-party payment gateway. All transactions (including payment authorization and signature verification) are executed directly via Razorpay under their banking-grade security standards. Ai study hub does not collect, receive, or store your credit card numbers, debit card numbers, CVV, or banking passwords.

We implement rigorous technical safeguards to protect your personal information and study data. All communications between the Ai study hub mobile application, our web servers, and third-party APIs are encrypted in transit using industry-standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). User sessions are protected with encrypted authentication tokens. While no digital service is 100% immune from security risks, we continuously maintain our security measures to prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.

To provide a complete educational ecosystem, we integrate with trusted third-party providers who process data in accordance with their respective privacy policies:

• Google Firebase: User authentication, secure token verification, and diagnostic monitoring.
• Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Banner, interstitial, and rewarded video advertising.

• Local Storage Clearance: You can clear cached scans, local notes, or session history at any time via your device application settings.

Ai study hub is designed for high school, university, and independent adult learners. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal data without verified parental consent, we take immediate steps to delete that information.
